These terms govern your use of the Born to Build website (borntobuildservices.com) and the relationship between you and Born to Build Carpentry and Construction Services Pty Ltd (ABN 67 654 664 838, NSW Builders Licence 362701C). By using the website you agree to these terms.

1. Website information

The information on this website is general in nature and provided as a guide only. Cost estimates, timelines, floor plan dimensions, and material specifications shown on the site are indicative. The actual scope, price, and timeline of any building work will be set out in a written quote and a formal building contract that we provide before any work begins. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to perform work.

2. Quotes and bookings

Submitting a quote enquiry through the website does not create a contract. We will respond to your enquiry, conduct a free site visit if appropriate, and provide a written fixed-scope quote. The quote is the basis for any subsequent contract. Bookings are confirmed only when a written contract is signed and the deposit is paid.

3. Building contracts

All building work is performed under a NSW Home Building Act 1989-compliant written contract that sets out scope, price, payment schedule, timeline, exclusions, variations process, dispute resolution, and warranty. Where the contract value exceeds $20,000, we use the standard Master Builders Australia residential building contract or equivalent. Cooling-off rights, statutory warranties, and the Home Building Compensation Fund coverage apply to all qualifying contracts.

4. Use of the website

You may use the website to research our services, request a quote, browse floor plans and project information, and contact us. You may not:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information through the lead form
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, infrastructure, or admin systems
• Scrape, copy, or republish content from the website without our written permission
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the website except where expressly permitted by our robots.txt

5. Intellectual property

The website content — including copy, photographs, floor plan diagrams, brand assets, logos, and code — is owned by Born to Build Carpentry and Construction Services Pty Ltd or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute this content without our written permission. The Born to Build name and mascot logo are unregistered trade marks used under common-law protection.

6. Floor plan diagrams

The floor plan diagrams shown on the website are indicative layouts only. They are schematic representations intended to convey approximate room arrangements and sizes. They are not architectural drawings, are not to scale, and must not be used for construction. Final architectural drawings will be prepared by a draftsman and certified by a building certifier as part of any contracted build.

7. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party sites (Facebook, Google Maps, supplier websites). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting an enquiry through the website you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with that policy.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, and conditions about the website except those that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
